A license is necessary if you intend to distribute your song on streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and other platforms where you gain income from the streams.

What Does "Free for Non-Profit Use" Mean?

"Free for non-profit" means you can use the beat for free without monetizing the track. For example, you can upload your song to YouTube or SoundCloud as long as you have the monetization disabled. Once uploading the track keep in mind that you are obligated to tag me in the title with “prod. docent”.

Will the Beats Be Tagged After I Purchase a License?

Yes! The beat always comes with a tag placed usually at the end of the beat. It’s a unique “pew pew pew” laser effect. Tag is always available in separate stem in the Premium Plus (trackouts) lease, so there is possibility to remove it from the beat arrangement.

Can Someone Else Use the Beat I've Leased?

Yes, others can purchase the same beat and use it in their own projects, as the beat is available for licensing multiple times. The only time when other people can’t lease the beat anymore is when the Exclusive lease is purchased.

Do You Offer Exclusive Licenses, and How Much Do They Cost?

Yes, I offer exclusive licenses. The price for an exclusive license depends on the specific beat you're interested in. Generally, prices start at $1000. Please reach out directly for more information and to get an exact quote.

What Happens to My Song if Someone Purchases an Exclusive License?

If you already have an active license and someone buys the exclusive rights to the beat, your license will still be honored, but you won’t be able to upgrade to a higher-tier license. If you haven’t purchased a license and someone buys the exclusive rights, you won’t be able to upload your song to streaming platforms. After the Exclusive is purchased the beat is removed from the store forever. There is no more a chance to license it.
